A number that is not currently active on the WhatsApp app, since a number can only live in one place. A fresh SIM is easiest, and a landline that can take a verification call works.

What is a WhatsApp template and why do I need one?
A template is the wording of a message you want to start a conversation with, submitted to WhatsApp for review before you can send it. It can carry placeholders, so one approved template covers every customer with their own name, amount or date. Approval usually takes minutes to a few hours. Once someone replies, you can talk freely without a template for 24 hours.
What happens if someone does not have WhatsApp?
