Common pricing questions

What happens when I exceed the included SMS in a month?

You're billed at your tier's per-SMS rate for the overage, with no surprise charges. Each plan also carries a generous monthly ceiling as a runaway-cost safety net; the dashboard shows running usage in real time and we flag it well before you get near the ceiling, so you can move up a tier without your sending ever pausing.

Is every feature really included on every plan?

Yes. WhatsApp, SMS and email, campaigns, two-way replies, delivery reports and the full API are on every plan, right from day one, free. A bigger plan only ever buys you a cheaper per-message rate and a larger volume allowance, never a feature you were missing.

Is there a setup or activation fee?

No. There is no setup or activation charge on any plan, Enterprise included, so you can start sending straight away.

Can I switch plans?

Yes, up or down at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle and we pro-rate the difference.

What does email pricing look like?

Most paid plans include a monthly email allowance, from 400 up to 10,000 emails a month. Emails within your allowance are included, and above it email is billed at N$0.20 each.

What does WhatsApp pricing look like?

WhatsApp is billed per delivered message by template type: authentication (login codes) N$0.55, utility (transactional notices) N$0.85, and marketing (bulk broadcasts) from N$1.20, with service replies free. Bulk marketing gets cheaper per message as your monthly volume grows, down to N$0.70. You only pay for messages WhatsApp confirms delivered. Undelivered ones are free, and if WhatsApp does not land we fall back to SMS automatically.

How is delivery billed if a recipient is offline?

SMS units are reserved when the message is queued and refunded if the carrier confirms permanent failure. You only pay for messages we hand off to the carrier.

Do you charge VAT?

No. Tuma is not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is added on SMS, WhatsApp, email or any plan. The price you see is the price you pay. If we register for VAT, it will be shown separately on your invoice at the applicable Namibian rate.

What payment methods do you accept?

Bank EFT and PayM8-routed card payments. Contact us for invoice billing on annual plans.
